Art has become actively involved in the Georgia Association of Business Brokers (GABB). He has served as Secretary (2004), Treasurer (2005 & 2006), Vice-President (2008) and is currently serving as President. He believes that his membership has helped himself and also enabled him to assist other brokers as they start their careers.
Art is also a member of International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). Art recently received the prestigious Certified Business Intermediary (CBI®) designation during IBBA’s Conference for Professional Development Education Program and Conference. In 2003 he received the Senior Business Analyst (SBA) Award from the Society of Business Analysts. Art is also a member of Institute of Certified Business Counselors (I-CBC).
