Unlike some companies who dabble in exit planning, we are committed to the planning and implementation process. What does that mean? We'll work with your existing teram of advisors to ensure that we have explored and addressed potential issues to create a comprehensive plan that everyone is involved in. However, we not only help you develop a personalized exit strategy, we also help you do the most important part -IMPLEMENT your strategy. Just like a business plan or a marketing plan, an exit plan is no good unless you implement it. Implementation is often the most difficult challenge. We hold our clients accountable.
Our process isn't for everyone. Selling a business is hard work. This is why following a proven process gets results. We only work with business owners who are serious about getting maximum value for their business and leaving their legacy in the hands of a serious, capable buyer. Our process only allows us to be engaged in a limited number of client relationships each year. This helps ensure each of our clients gets the attention they need during this sometimes difficult and emotional process. We believe it is better to have a waiting list of prospective clients than to keep our current clients on hold during one of the most important times in their life.
Another difference in our approach is how we are paid. No gimmicks. No commissions. We charge retainer and project fees for our work. So our main focus is creating and implementing your exit strategy. Not to sell you accounting. legal, or financial services. While our professional team members are licensed and fully able to deliver additional products and services, our process eliminates annoying sales pitches and conflicts of interest. You maintain control during the process on who you do business with. Only you can solicit our team for additional resources. They cannot solicit you. How's that for different???
We have created a business model which maintains our independence as we help you develop your exit strategy. We follow a proven process (over 25 years in the making) to:

2) Recommend ways to improve saleability and marketability
3) Implement your exit plan
We have managed and are currently managing significant business transactions. We are business owners ourselves so we understand and empathize with your challenges. We have built, operated and divested of significant businesses so we understand the preparation required, the many emotions involved in considering leaving and the strategies of transitioning a business. But most of all, the use of our proven process -if implemented correctly- can increase the value of your business by improving your bottom line.
This focus on assessing and improving critical areas of your current business has three effects: First, it increases your operating income until you are ready to leave (and who doesn't like that?). Second, it creates a multiplier effect on your business value in three ways i) by increasing cashflow - the engine that drives business value; ii) increases the multiple that buyers are willing to pay on that cashflow, and; iii) minimizes the weaknesses that buyers will attempt to exploit to reduce your business's value. Finally, it speeds up the process once you decide to pull the trigger on transitioning out of the business. By identifying and strengthening certain areas of your business it becomes more attractive to qualified buyers and they will pay more to acquire it.
