Description
Four years ago, Angelica became a Business Broker and joined her husband, Sobhi Michail, owner of Sunbelt Business Brokers of Pasadena. She is a member of International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and California Association of Business Brokers (CABB).
Angelica never dreamt she would someday be in this profession. For years, she worked with actuarial tables and insurance contracts, not people. She was an actuary with several US and international life insurance and actuarial consulting companies such as Metropolitan Life, Transamerica, Swiss Re and National Actuarial Network. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and her specialty is pricing, negotiating and auditing reinsurance agreements.
Today, she is active in the business community as a member of Industry Manufacturers Council(IMC), San Gabriel Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce, Whittier Chamber of Commerce, TEAM Referral Network, and Strategic Alliance Network.
Everyone has a story to tell and Angelica realizes when a sale is completed, the lives of both Seller and Buyer will forever be changed. Because of this, she takes great care in helping Sellers and Buyers make appropriate decisions. She presents “How to Buy and Sell a Business” seminars regularly to educate future Sellers and Buyers.
Angelica graduated from the Drucker Business School at Claremont University with an Executive MBA and from the University of the Philippines with a BS in Mathematics. She is an active volunteer with Soroptimist International, Toastmasters International, Presbyterian Church and is President of Valley Housing Partners, an organization helping house the homeless.
